The Fiber Event is once again offering competitions in Fleece, Skeins and Garments. We would love to have you bring your fiber and/or products from that fiber to share with others.
There will be a $2 fee for each item entered into the competition. Below are the guidelines.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to select the proper class and division for each of their entries.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to properly prepare each of their entries according to competition guidelines. Please read all rules and requirements for each category, class, and division.
Every effort will be taken to display and care for all entries. The Fiber Event, its volunteers, nor Putnam County Fairgrounds assume any responsibility for damaged, lost or stolen items.
All entries must be claimed by 3pm on Saturday April 20, 2019. Any entry not claimed by the above stated time will be disposed of at the discretion of The Fiber Event committee.
Entry deadline is 10am on Saturday April 20, 2019. Judging will be open to the general public, and will begin promptly at 11am. Entries will be accepted by mail until Monday April 15, 2019. All mail-in entries should include:
An entry form for each separate entry, completed in full by the exhibitor.
Return shipping information: a PREPAID USPS shipping envelope must be included with your entry if it is to be returned to you by mail. No other form of return shipment will be available.

Insured shipping is recommended, but not required.
Awards and Certificates of Recognition will be presented as follows:
Awards will be presented for Best In Show, Best of Fleece, Best of Skein, Best of Garment, and Judge’s Choice.
Certificates of Recognition will be presented to places first through third in each class or division.
Pictures of all entries may be used for promotional purposes in both printed and social media advertisement.
All judge’s decisions are final.
