Hand-knit socks are beyond compare! Why do them Toe-Up? Why make them Two-At-A-Time? Come to class and learn all the whys and hows. This is one of Bex’s most popular classes! No, you will not finish a pair of socks in class… but you will have all of the techniques down to size socks for anyone and the confidence to finish on your own.

Materials Fee: $25 (payable to to instructor day of class).
Includes yarn, needles, and handout with pattern.

What to bring: Basic knitting notions including removable stitch markers, tape measure, pencil, calculator.

Instructor Biography: Bex Oliger grew up in her mother’s (Carol Leigh Brack-Kaiser) Hillcreek Fiber Studio. She started learning weaving and natural dyeing at a young age and has traveled the country for 35 years with the family business vending and teaching at Fiber, Weaving and Knitting Shows. She helped design and weave several projects and assisted with many workshops highlighted in Carol Leigh’s books, The Continuous Strand Weaving Method and Nature Provides: Dyes for Rainbows. Bex is now a knitwear designer; knitting, weaving, and natural dyeing instructor and consultant; and owns Hillcreek Yarn Shoppe in Columbia, MO.
